Troubleshooting with connections

If you are experiencing connection problems with spincube after a project was opened or created, you may reconnect spincube.

Identifying a connection problem

Before proceed, check your system’s connection status.

Connection problem occurs, if

  • either your spincube system is powered on at least for 5 minutes but still seems offline in spinstudio (a)
  • or the system seems to be online, but its modules seem offline (b)
  • or the system seems to be offline, but its modules are indicated with green checkmarks (c)

If you experience any of the above malfunctions, click on the re-connect button as indicated below:

When prompted, say OK to reconnect systems.

  • This will not terminate your existing measurements
  • This will temporarily interrupt any ongoing data streams in “Live Data”
  • Note: it may take ~30 seconds for the spincube system to turn online following a reconnection
