Displaying events

The spinstudio logs specific occurences during the electrospinning process, like issuing a pump dispense command or registering an abnormal humidity level. You can view these events using the Historical Data panel when you load a measurement’s data. If you select a data channel as well, you can analize how specific events affected the monitored value. You can select multiple events at once, but you can only display them on the graph while you have a data channel selected as well. The handling of events is described in the following:

  1. Select the Events tab in the Data History window (1). The list shows all events (2) registered during the measurement.
  2. Select the event (3) you wish to view. The Timeline will show the exact time of the selected event or events with markers (4).
  3. To display the event on the graph, click on the Refresh display button (5). The event shows up as a vertical marker (6) on the graph, indicating the exact time of occurence.

You can remove your cursors from the graph and the timeline by deselecting them (Ctrl+Left click on the name or left click on the empty white part of the Events list) and clicking on Refresh display again.
