Current limit

Spinsplit spincube is factory limited to 80 uA output current. If the current between the collector and emitter exceeds this limit, the unit automatically reduces the output voltage. In this case the B4 Overcurrent indicator lights on.
Note, that if the overcurrent condition persists, following a beep sound, the instrument automatically turns off the high voltage output and spincube Power displays “E-05”. Push B2 button once to clear error.

In persistent overcurrent cases consider checking the electrospinning setup, increase emitter-collector distance or reduce voltage.
