Activating/deactivating High Voltage

For safety reasons, High Voltage can be only activated by physically pressing the button on the front panel of spincube power, this option is unavailable from spinstudio remote control.

Activating High Voltage

1. Set the desired voltage either in spinstudio (remote mode) or on spincube power front panel
2. Press B2 High Voltage on button for 2 seconds to activate high voltage. Following a beep sound the actual output voltage is displayed.
   Note: the high voltage won’t be turned on if the operator presses the button for less than 2 seconds.
   Note: the high voltage won’t be turned on if any error condition persists

Deactivating High Voltage

1. Press B2 High Voltage Enable button again. The beep sound confirms the action.
2. Make sure that you wait at least 5 minutes before touching the emitter followed by High Voltage deactivation

Interrupting the experiment

1. Alternatively, High Voltage can be deactivated from spinstudio by pressing the red abort button on spincube power’s dashboard. This will turn off the pumps too.
