How Can We Help?
Using the cubepump dashboard interface
- Select Dashboard (1) on the Menu bar.
- Select the cubePump module on the list, then right click (2) and place it on the Dashboard. Make sure the correct module is highlighted in the list. Place the module’s interface on the Dashboard with a left click on an unoccupied space on the Dashboard after selecting Place on dashboard.
- The pump module’s interface (3) is now on your dashboard. The pump cannot be used until you set a syringe size in the Settings of the pump module.
Using the command interface of the pump module:
- While editing the parameters of the control, only two fields are editable, the third grayed out and fixed on the set value to ensure valid data
- You can switch the locked status to any one of the parameters by clicking on the green lock symbol next to it
- If one field is edited, the other unlocked parameter is automatically calculated based on the input and the locked (grayed) parameter
- You can start and stop or pause the pump with the respective buttons under the control parameters
- The textbox above the control shows the pump’s status in real time (e.g. “Dispensing 286.4 μL / 600 μL”)
Tip: When the default values are loaded (as on the picture above) enter the volume you want to dispense, then lock the volume parameter, and you will be able to set a time or a flow rate without changing your initial volume output.
Tip: You can access the Settings interface of a module if you select it in the Modules list, then right click and choose Settings. This will take you directly to the highlighted module’s Settings.
