Using the spincube power dashboard interface

  1. Select Dashboard (1) on the Menu bar.
  2. Select the spincube power module on the list, then right click (2) and place it on the Dashboard. Make sure the correct module is highlighted in the list. Place the module’s interface on the Dashboard with a left click on an unoccupied space on the Dashboard after selecting Place on dashboard.
  3. The power module’s interface (3) is now on your dashboard. To enable the use of the controls on the Dashboard interface, you have to be in remote mode. See the arcticle Turn on Remote Mode for a detailed description on how to turn on the remote mode. After enabling remote mode you can:
    1. Set the Voltage output of the power supply. The upper limit is defined by the power module’s settings, the default limit is 40 kV
    2. Monitor the Spinneret voltage in real time
    3. Turn on and off the Chamber Light
    4. Check for High voltage on and Overcurrent warnings (displayed under the spinneret voltage indicator when applicable)
    5. Issue a safety stop command using the red X button that turns off high voltage instantly
